Default Mysterious Growth on Glass

When I checked my Leuc vivarium today, I noticed that it has some sort of growth growing on one of its glass sides. I know a picture would be appropiate for this sort of thing, but the rechargeable battery in mine is shot.

The growth is yellow and branches off into all sorts of little networks -- like the roots of a plant or a bunch of tiny blood vessels. Is this some sort of fungus? I'm trying to decide whether it would be save to merely remove it or if I need to vacate the frogs and trash the vivarium.

Does it look similiar to this?
Slime mold is a really cool fungus that often pops up in vivs because of the high humidity and decomposing matter. There's a TON of species but I'm guessing its some sort of slime mold. If you have ever seen Planet Earth in the Jungle episode they talk about this stuff, it has a really short life span and when it grows it sort of "pulsates."

It does sound like slim mold. I think it would be great if a mod could put a sticky in the beginner area about this. If it isn't already there. I don't remember seeing one. I remember looking at my viv one morning freaking out because of slim mold. I just new my frogs were going to die lol. I think this has happened to most of us at one point or another.

Yeah, it looks very similar to that. So it's nothing to worry about, then?

Slime molds won't harm anything. They'll go almost as fast as they came - enjoy it while you can!

I really think slime mold is cool! Just like mushrooms, its another kind of vivarium gues that I'll let stay as long as they wish and visit as often as they like! If you look at it one hour and then again an hour later, it will have grown some or even moved. This stuff is really fascinating!
