R/O for everything. It's really price effective if you have more than a few animals. The geckos love it, frogs love it, and even my G/F and I love it.

(Aquafina & many other bottled water = R/O water btw)

Edit: A HUGE concern should be taken in storing R/O water. since it has essentially NOTHING in it - bacteria can grow VERY quickly. For anyone using a holding tank for R/O water - a UV sterilizer is a must. (I learned that on here btw)

Pure water is an extremely harsh environment for organisms to grow. The problem is that bacteria can collect and colonize on the membrane, increasing the amount of bacteria that passes the membrane and/or damaging the membrane itself. There is very little risk of bacterial blooms in good RO water after the fact.

I use RO without issues even for eggs and tadpoles.

Do you use "RO Right" or any other additives to "reconstitute" the RO water before use Kyle?
