Default important questions..

how do your frogs behave and what have you observed when they molt or shed their skin or whatever they do? Do they actually molt? Im curious because today my female sat on one leaf all day long. I noticed some a little strand of weird slim coming off the leaf, but that was it. She got off the leaf once or twice to sit in the water dish and jumped at the glass once and that was all. I didnt know if maybe she just over ate yesterday or if she was molting or what not. I noticed my male hid all day as well.. Any thoughts?

Here is a video of a azureus shedding but it doesn't show too close up. Video of Azureus Shedding - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I haven't seen my pdfs molt but I’ve seen other peoples and videos. A shedding frog definitely seems agitated, they start painting at first to loosen up the skin around the head and then scratch off the old skin using their forelimbs and will eat the old skin. I don't think that they are more likely to hide while shedding. I don't know what that bit of slim on your leaf could be maybe it is a piece of skin that the frog didn't eat. hopefully one of the old veterans on here will pipe up and give you their two bits.
