I'm going to have to echo everyone else... She will be fine as a solitary. I saw awhile ago someone had blue sips for sale (thought of you actually) but you don't actually see them very often. Which is a shame... they are still some of my favorites. Have you tried Nabors?

lol. love your sig sarah.

anyway, you dont necessarily have to find an adult, you know.

You could get a subadult and just wait like 5 months and boom. adult....

I know, that wasnt really helpful, but still a possibility.

Oh yeah, like sarah stated, you get in touch with patrick to see if he has any sip adults.

WOW! So happy to see you!!!

I am so upset by losing my boys. I honestly can't leave my girl alone for long.

Mid January I will get her a Green Sip if I can't find a Blue.

I know their Viv was okay and they got plenty of food with supplements every day. The Boys were just older. It seems silly to cry over a frog, but I only had 3, I lost two in 6 months.

I did contact Patrick Nabor but he has no Blue Sips.

If ANYONE can find Juvenile Blue Sips I will buy them. I have my main Viv and a grow out Viv for Juveniles. I have looked and cannot find anyone selling Blue Sips

You really shouldn't just settle for a frog whose morph name sounds similiar, thats kinda defeating the purpose if you want to breed them.

^^Just so you know, I doubt highly that is what she is doing... there have been cases of blues throwing greens. In fact there are people that believe that these are from the same population and we have just separated them out for color.

Some also claim that blue sips, new rivers, and koetari are the same, but without definite collection data the responsible thing to do is keep them seperate. We can easily start breeding them together later on if they are confirmed to be a single population, but if we make a bunch of hybrids now and they are found to be seperate populations we will have potentially destroyed 5 morphs in the hobby.

I have no intention of breeding if I get a Green Sip. I didn't even know they were ok to keep in the same viv until I reached out to Mr. Nabor asking if he had any Blue Sips.

I am mostly concerned with getting her a viv-mate rather than breeding. I would prefer a male only because there is possibility of female aggression.

Didn't your first post say you lost ONE frog and a second post say you lost TWO frogs?

If you did indeed loose two frogs @ 3 years of age....from the same viv.....I would really take a second hard look at what may have caused that before you make another aquisition. There may be a possible disease issue still present.
