Default Terribilis it is!!

After doing some research I really want to go with the Terribilis. YA!!

I have a exo 24" x 18" x 24"and would like to know how many will do well together and not be crowded.

I have a small water feature/waterfall. The tank is planted heavy and is growing in very well. I will take some pictures tonight.

My tanks humidity seems to stay at 95% and my temp is about 74-78F was the highest. Tell me what you think and if this is a good choice.

Thank you!!

awful choice... I think they'll love it in there. I know Scott has about five or six in an exo a size smaller than that. Not that thats an ideal number but I don't believe he's run into any problems with such a large group.

You should be able to house 10 in there as juvis to 1/2 grown, thin to 5 by 1/2 grown if you have more than that and as adults it depends on the sex ratios but 2 - 4 would most likely be the largest group, wait is it 18 hi? If its 18 wide i wouldn`t go higher than 3 as adults and 2.1 at that. Not that you`d definately have problems w/ more but that`s what I`d recommend.
W/ questions like that no one can really give you a solid answer. If you don`t feed enough or not enough cover etc. any even 2 animals might not get along in the same tank. Especially females. Some are better than others in groups but there are always exceptions.
Groups of animals are harder than pairs always. Your best bet is to grow them up from juvis together, this will create a pecking order as they are growing up.
I just got a group of 2.3 adult terribilis in which the sub female was getting a bit skinny and had to be seperated and the rest got seperated into pairs. I imagine the sub female was laying constantly and not eating clutches as I`m sure there were more eggs being layed than reported by him.

10 terribilis in that tank? That is not a good idea. I also would not recommend that tank for terribilis. Teribiilis will rarely leave the ground so a 20gal long or 30-40 gal breeder would be a much better choice for them. For these sizes I wouls recommend 3 in a the 20 long and maybe 4 or so in the 30 breeder.

Thanks Kyle. I actually have an empty 20L at the moment and i want to start up..so thank you. After reading up..they do not have much room in the tank i wanted to put them in.. :|

Which works out great..everyone I have spoken to says just have eggs or will not be ready for a few wks/ months.

So I have time to build them a proper home!! Thank you!!

As juvis to 1/2 grown Kyle. I grow them up 10 to a 10 gal. That`s only 10x18? If you read further along I tell him to thin them down as they mature to 3(2.1) as adults.
