Default Mushrooms??

I have several small, light brown, mushroom looking things growing from one of my patches of frog moss. I thought they were plant growth at first but now the inch & 1/2 tall stalks are growing mushroom tops.

My auratus have been eating FFs off the tops of these and they seem fine. Anyone know anything about these?

Mushrooms are normal in a healthy viv. Enjoy them while they're there. Usually the only last a few days at most.

Default mushrooms

I always seem to get mushrooms whenever I start a new tank or when I mist more heavily. Like said before though, they don't last long and don't cause any problems.

Mushrooms are also considered to be a "bingo" just an extra joy indicating a healthy tank. They will not poison the dart frogs, but don't eat them yourself. Many kinds may crop up over time from mysterious origins. Some may just grow as mycelium, not fruit for years, and then suddenly show up in a very old tank. I've managed to identify around 10 species of shrooms that have shown up in my tanks over the past 10 years. Some have only one time, and others may repeat again and again. Just relax and enjoy them when they occur.
