Best and Easiest Fruit Fly Medium

I have had 2 luecs now for about 2 weeks, and they are doing great, but i was wondering what yall think the easiest/best fruit fly medium is for culturing them. I have 1 culture right now that is going to last me for about 3-4 more weeks i think. i just want to start my own culture so i dont have to go out and buy them. I have the deli cups, i just want yall used.

You can't go wrong with dry media bought from a number of places (check the sponsors). All you have to do is add water and yeast.

As for easy, you can't beat ordering it, but making it isn't hard at all. As for the best media, well, let's just say you'll get a variety of opinions on what "best" constitutes. 1c brewers yeast
1c sugar
8c potato flakes

Toss 1/3c of medium in culture cup with 1/4c vinegar and 1/4c water(I sometimes add just a tad bit more water).
