Default Intro

Hi all, time for another noob to come out of the closet. Name's Nick Sly, I'm an undergrad at Cornell (Ithaca, NY) studying evolutionary bio and ornithology. I have a strong interest in birds and birding, and a second interest in herps. My captive experience so far is mostly geckos (also some Hyla versicolor for a while) as you can see by my signature. I'm looking seriously into pdfs, and may decide to get my first sometime this summer. I love this site, so much wonderful info, and wonderful animals. Even if I don't get any, I'll be sticking around here for the pictures  Well, I'll be posting questions as they come up (trust me, I'm a noob who knows how to use the search feature 8) ) and maybe I'll post some gecko pics when I get a chance. For now you can check out what I keep on my website (still under construction, don't have much time to work on it) http://www.freewebs.com/slygecko/

Drop me a line if you want to talk birding, evolution, herping, geckos, anything. I'd love to chat.

Cheers,
Nick

Welcome Aboard!!

Shoot rozdaboff a PM and introduce yourself. I think you both have some things in common. He's a great guy and super resource.

Welcome. I'm the opinionated old fart, teller of boring tales from the past and my entire family, and extended family are avid "bird watchers." This forum is a lot of fun--in fact it probably constitutes nearly all of my social life, because I live way off in the boonies and am not particularly religious, so the Fourth Ward Ladies Relief Society is not one of my social interests.

Dart frogs are addictive, should come with a warning label. Stick around.

Welcome. I'm the big mouth who tries his best to stay in the Parts and Construction section, but usually fails miserably and inadvertently (most of the time anyway :wink gets people going.
