Default extreme newbie - further question

So, if you introduce the springtails to your tank, will they actually live and breed there; or do they just survive in the tank until they're all eventually eaten?

Yeah they live and breed in the tank. It's easier to seed the tank with springs before you add the frogs. Gives the springs a headstart to establish in the tank.
