Default Drip Walls

A question on drip walls..do you leave them run all the time or are they on a timer like the misters. I was thinking of having a constantly running "rain" of water. I know to keep the plants out of the way. What do you think?

I have a drip wall that runs the entire back of an 18gal high. It runs 24hrs a day. Frogs seem to like it, I pull a clutch of eggs a week out of that tank.

I asked a similar question here:

I have three different drip walls, one down tree fern panel capped with cork bark, and two others down cork into ponds--sort of a combo of drip wall and steep falls. They all run 24 hours a day and do a great job keeping up the humidity and moderating temperatures. They are especially nice when different mosses and miniature climbing vines grow on them.

I have one of those little waterfall pumps with 3/8" tubing directly hooked up to one of those plastic tubes about the diameter of a pencil that people use to make air bubbles in their aquariums suctioned to the glass of my viv and the water shoots through the pin holes in it on to the glass and then drips down into my pond. I think it's a great idea for a small enclosure like my 12" cube exo-terra. It's easy to hide with whatever you like.
