Housing your light fixtures
So I'm almost done with my viv (woot!)
I started putting together my 55w CF kit from AH Supply last night and I was wondering what you all do about housing your lights.
My tank only came with a glass top that folds open in the front. Should I try to build some sort of wooden box to mount the reflector in?
Either way I'll elevate the lights a couple inches off the top glass but could I just find something to cover the lights so they don't illuminate my whole room (a long wooden box for instance) or is it better to mount the reflector in a similar type of enclosure?
Or could i use a pre-made one for a fishtank or something?
Thanks again...can't wait to be done...pictures to come soon
