most digital timers allow you to input smaller increments (minutes) and have backup batteries to save your setting if the power goes out. You can find these at major retail stores (i.e. Radio Shack, Home Depot, etc.) for about $15 - $20.
The mistking timers are really nice because they can be set to turn off/on at second intervals, but will cost more especially when considering shipping.
