Looks like a great start and the coating materials look good too. I do have a Q though: Why do you want to use epoxy over the concrete? It would seem like only concrete or epoxy would do the job.

I prefer polyethylene as opposed to polystyrene (styrofoam) or GS for holding a sculpted shape, but once it's covered by epoxy, it probably won't matter. I got polyethylene here, I chose the charcoal color - 2.2lb @ 2x24x54". You'll be surprised when you see how strong the polygem epoxy is after curing though. Which kind of epoxy did you choose?
