I use bottled spring water expensive yes but Florida water is terrible and even Amqueling it does not make me confortable enough to use it on spraying frogs or tad rearing. Some parts of the country have great water out of the tap, in Ohio I merely aged and then used it without any further modification, I successfully raised frogs for 10 years there with it.
I like spring water because of the minerals, I think it must help in development but I have nothing to back that up.
