Re: Drain Bulkhead (valved?)
I know you said you didn't want tubing, but what I did is run a tube from my bulkhead to a container underneath the stand. I use the same size container for my mister resivoir so as one drains, the other fills up at the same rate. Also, this way my water stays at the same level, never have to worry about the substrate getting too soggy.
