My timing's a bit off since you posted this but yes you can keep hatchlings in deli cups...in fact I prefer to keep them in cups. Anything bigger and the hatchling can have difficulty finding its food items. Remember to offer babyfood twice per week (or more) to get some weight on them; large fruitflies make great prey.
