Aqua Jet 404 or 606 all the way. Mine has been running non stop for 4 months with no clogage. I took it out to examine the impeller...nothing but a little slime. I have it accessable in the back corner...which is not all that accessible. I can get to it and take it in and out if needed. It is inside a plastic container with large holes cut in it. The holes have screen siliconed over them which keeps out the large debris...the smaller stuff just gets pumped through. If you want a waterfall....dont use an irrigation manifold as seen on the blackjungle diy viv photo show.
