The frogs would probably not be harmed. But it will be very tough to "seed" your viv for mushrooms. A mushroom is basically the fruiting body of a fungus. If you were to seed the viv with mushroom spores, it would still be a while before the fungus got to the point that it was even ready to push up a mushroom.
The best way would probably be to put a stick from the woods into your viv.
