Default drainage water for tad tea?

I am wondering if i could use the water that drains into the false bottoms of my tanks as tad tea.
I have several uninhabited tanks that i drain once or twice a week and it looks like it would be a good water for tadpoles. It is a nice color and it is RO water that has seeped through a couple of inches of my substrate(peat, orchid bark, spagnum).
It seems like this would be a good way to recycle my water.
