I would argue that you do indeed get more flies with the larger 32 containers. BUT! Only if you use an internal substrate like excelsior. We have played with 16, 20, and 24 oz. containers and did counts (tedious!) Our 32 oz. is the one we went with and the one we use for a reason. More flies! Take it or leave it, but it's what we found to be true.
