Froglets of Azureus are pretty hardy. Azureus froglets will be bigger than adults of some of the "thumbnail" species.
I suggest buying the froglets making sure you have food to feed them. Even adult Azureus dont like hydei as much as melanogasters so make sure you have some small foods around. Springtails are not needed, but will definately help put some weight on the froglets.
If the price is not much difference from froglets to adults, go for adults.

Since you keep mantellas allready, Im sure you have enough experience to feel comfortable with the froglets .

If you plan to keep them in a 10 gallon, dont get more than 2 froglets. I feel when they grow up, even 2 will be cramped in a 10g. This would steer me away from buying adults.

Id say buy the froglets, but also invest in a 20H tank or bigger.

Hope my rambling helped a little.
